Best Acai Bowls in Bondi
It’s a universally acknowledged truth that everyone in Australia is obsessed with Acai bowls… okay this is a complete over statement haha but it was certainly the case for me when I travelled over there!
Sure, I had tried acai bowls before but they were few and far between due to the lack of prominence in London, and nothing compared to the bowls I found in Bondi. So today, I decided I should damn well share that revelation… first off:
Berri Patch is situated in South Bondi, near enough to Icebergs and it’s the perfect place for bossing some blogging, as you can nab a seat overlooking the sea with your laptop, while enjoying your acai bowl and iced latte of course.
Nestled in North Bondi, this little joint is far from average. The food is just beautifully decorated and totally instagram worthy – I’d recommend coming here after you go for a surf lesson at ‘Let’s go Surfing’ school, to fuel yourself up for the rest of the day. Just be warned it’s on the slightly pricier side!
Acaii Brothers is a classic that cannot go wrong. The fact it’s in the name is a bit of a giveaway itself, but this really is a great place to get acai bowls. First off, they only blend their acai with coconut water, which means it’s much healthier than a lot of places that use apple or pineapple juice which is often packed with sugar. Secondly, you can add your own toppings, without the added price, so you can make it just the way you like it!
The Dandylion Bondi
Just a stone’s throw from Bondi beach, this place does an acai bowl like no other – lavender granola anyone!?
I’ve already spoken about Sadhana in my other blogpost, but I’ma talk about it again on here because it’s just THAT good. Everything that goes into this bowl is so carefully thought out, not only in its aesthetic, but more importantly, in its nutrition.
The wholy grail Acai Antiox Breakfast bowl at Bondi Wholefoods is what you should be ordering should you come here —Frozen Acai berries blended with organic juice and frozen fruits, topped with Farmer Joe’s Cinnamon Almond Granola, organic coconut flakes, and seasonal organic fresh fruits. You can even pump the protein up a notch and add amazonia raw multi supplement! It’s just a bit further down the road from Sadhana so it’s not in the hustle and bustle, but if you’re bonanzas about the bowls, you’ll give this one a try!
Now over to you… are there any of the best acai bowls I’m missing out on in London? How can I fuel my new found addiction and where can I go? Let me know in the comments below…
