Outfit of the day-to-night

One of my favourite things about fashion, is finding great bargains in the most unexpected places, mixing high end with high street (or even supermarket!) and throwing together an outfit that can be transitioned from day to night…

Sometimes I go to London to meet friends for drinks or dinner straight from work, which is in Hertfordshire. That means I have to plan my outfit so that it’s appropriate enough for work as well as after hours. This was the case today!

I paired my Missguided high waisted trousers (which are currently on sale for £15 – that’s right ladies, £15! And it even comes with the belt!) with my Tall Topshop turtle neck crop top (which because I got ‘tall’ actually hides the midriff situation when I wear seriously high waisted stuff!).

I covered the 2-piece by keeping cosy in my dreamy Asos coat (which is a complete bargain version of the belted L K Bennet number that’s no longer in stock!). This is great because you can have it undone and it still keeps in line with your shape but also tie its belt for flattery and warmth!

In terms of accessories, I paired the combo of the classic black large sized Prada Double Zip Saffiano Tote with a pair of Tesco’s F&F boots – yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, Tesco boots! To top off the fact these bad boys are already bank account friendly, they’re also half price, at £15! Isn’t that just ‘boot’iful? Sorry, couldn’t resist ;)…

For the final touches, I added my Michael Kors watch, my Joma Jewellery ring, my Topshop necklace and my Tom Ford glasses – which aren’t just for style purposes, I genuinely need them to drive and for screens, but I can also take them off for the evening if I feel like it!

So there you have it, the perfect outfit of the day to night!
