Sports Luxe Lookbook

 In Style & Beauty

Comfort is queen. And these days, I’m all about wearing clothes that are just as much comfortable as they are fashionable.

That’s why I’m currently crushing on the sports luxe look. Because really, who doesn’t wanna get away with wearing trainers and caps if they can!?

There’s something about black leather trousers that means business and look a lot more luxe than leggings and I started off with this New Look number for that sleek and sporty look. They’re super flattering as they hug you in all the right places, accentuating yo ladylike curves…

Inspired by the fishnet faze and my gorgeous and talented friend Mel from Melissa-Lou (who’s also a blogger and took these photos of me!) who styled these recently, I decided to take a try at the trend myself and wear them underneath my leather trousers so you could see them peaking out at the top by my waist and round my ankles, completed by my all black Nike roshe runs.

I then knew I wanted to wear a cropped top so you could see the fishnet detail round my waist and found the perfect cropped back hoody from Brandy Melville. If you’ve ever been to Brandy you’ll know how every single one of their clothes is SO COMFY and so it just complemented the look.

I kept my hair straight to look more sleek and add that streamlined sports edge. Lastly, I added my velvet black cap and an edgy choker for the final sporty touch. All of these pieces, although all black, were all different textures which gave it an added luxe look and such simple accessories made the outfit all the more sporty.

The great thing about this kind of outfit, is that it’s perfect for looking like you made a bit more of an effort than just a baggy jumper and leggings, but is still so comfortable enough that you can run all types of errands… and for me, that means getting a coffee at Joe and the Juice #priorities hahaaaa
