The Perfect Pinafore

 In Style & Beauty

The perfect pinafore was a pivotal piece missing from my wardrobe… I had long tried to find it and find it I finally did! You may have read my autumn fashion post where I wore the burgundy version… and this is the black number, also from Primark!

At £10 per pinafore, it was an offer I could not refuse…

It’s a leather look pinafore which is great because it means you can style it smart, casual, or as an evening look as it’s super versatile. You could wear a crisp white shirt buttoned to the top with a statement necklace, hair in a bun to mean business, add some tights and flat pumps and run to work, or wear a deep v-neck long sleeved top, don a choker and throw on some heels and swan into the city for some drinks….

Alternatively, you could wear the perfect pinafore with a ripped denim long sleeved shirt and some over the knee boots for a favourable girl-about-town comfy casual like this…

The denim shirt from Topshop gives it that vintage look and contrasts really well with the black leather, giving it that edgy feel with the rips. And adding over the knee flat boots from Stuart Weitzman makes it look a little more chic – plus they’re super practical because they’re so comfortable and don’t have a towering heel!

As the pinafore isn’t on the Primark website I’ve linked one similar below as well as for the other pieces!

Which pinafore do you prefer, the black or the burgundy? Let me know in the comments below!
